Job Description for Metal Ship Hull Assembler
1. Position
Job title: Metal Ship Hull Assembler
Department: Production Department
Reports to: Production Manager / Foreman
2. Purpose
To assemble metal ship hulls according to technical drawings, ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with production standards.
3. Functions and Responsibilities
Perform assembly of metal hull components based on technical documentation and drawings.
Carry out metal cutting, drilling, bending, and other mechanical operations.
Assemble and fix parts of the ship hull: plates, partitions, beams, deck structures, etc.
Tack welding with processes 111, 135, and 136. (MMA, MIG_MAG)
Ensure dimensional accuracy and correct geometry of structures.
Follow safety instructions, maintain work quality, and meet production deadlines;
Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace order.
4. Qualification Requirements
Technical education (shipbuilding, metalworking, or similar - an advantage);
Ability to read technical drawings.
Work with cranes.
Experience in shipbuilding minimum 5 years
Responsibility, precision, ability to work in a team.
